Teen Money Tips - Cool free software

For some of us school is starting again now and it's time to get back into homework and assignments and things like that. Of course this means that your computer may once again be used for other things apart from gaming, chatting with friends and listening to music. In this post I'm going to tell you about some great (and free software) that can be used to help you with your homework!

1 - Open Office (.org) - This is a free office suite of software that includes word processor and spreadsheet. It works really well and doesn't slow down your computer. It has all the features of a paid offic suite and I would highly reccommend it!

2- The Gimp - This is a free photo editor that is much more advanced than Windows Paint. It's a very professional piece of software that is easy to use! I would highly reccommend you download it!

3 - Mozilla Firefox - This is a really great internet browser. From what I can tell it is incredibly secure and safe (and the pop up blocker works really well!) the best bit though is the tabbed browsing which means you can open lots of internet windows but not take up much space on the taskbar. This software runs really, really well and is absolutely awesome!

4 - QuData Calculator - This one will really help with maths assignments! It is an advanced desktop calculator that can peform various trigonometral functions as well as phsycics calculations. It also has a unit converter!
